EVANGELISM
God is bringing a harvest of souls to HBBC. In addition to the recent baptisms and conversions mentioned in a previous post, this past Wednesday night I had the honor of leading two people to receive Christ. Praise the Lord!
ENCOURAGEMENT
This past Thursday, I had the privilege to give an evangelism report to the Lafayette Baptist Association. In the report, I talked about plans for our upcoming Evangelism Rallies. We are planning two rallies: One on April 30, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at Airline Baptist Church, Mayo, FL; the other on May 1, 2010, 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Cross City, FL. During each of the rallies, we are planning an evangelistic worship service, followed by evangelism training sessions in the following categories: pastors/staff, personal evangelism, Youth evangelism, children's evangelism. I will post more on these rallies later. During the report, I also described plans to recognize churches at the annual meeting in October who have seen increases in baptisms throughout the year. Hopefully, this will be an encouragement to our churches, as we praise God for what He is doing.
